Nature has become more important to me. I stop to watch things that I would have passed by when I was younger. Earth has come close to me. So has winter. A young conifer and a few swaying grasses make me stop and shoot a photo of the sight with chilled hands. I am not thinking at all that I am making art here, oh no. I am face to face with something truly real.
