This page contains information resources that you can browse independently. Some of the listed resources are freely available, some databases on the other hand can be accessed on library workstations only due to user rights issues. Please, see user rights below.

Use of databases outside the library network

The customers can have remote access to some of the databases and electronic resources licensed to Oulu city library even at home. There is a text “access by login to Pohjanportti” by the database information. To use the databases outside Oulu city library network you need a library card and a password to library’s web services. You can get the password at the library.

When loging in to Pohjanportti, choose “Oulun kaupunginkirjasto” from the drop-down menu, and tick “I accept the release of personal information”.

After the login the database is available.
