Christmastime events in Turkansaari Open-air Museum

You are welcome to visit Turkansaari Open-air Museum's rustic Christmas on both Advent Sundays. Those looking for the peace and quiet of the season can peek into the historical buildings decorated for Christmas, and enjoy the natural beauty of the islands.

The programme for the First Advent (Nov. 29th) starts with the Christmas Fairy Tale of the visiting puppet show Sytkyt from Helsinki.

The Second Advent (Dec. 6th) begins with the Turkansaari Elf Circuit, giving consideration for forest wildlife and teaching about Yuletide traditions. The event is geared towards children and the young-at-heart.

The Museum grounds are open between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on November 29th and December 6th. Free admission to the Museum area.
