ABOUT WIRELESS CITIES 2006 CONFERENCE

Wireless Cities 2006 Conference is an international event presenting wireless technologies and applications from a various points of view. New innovations, experiences, best practices and pilots from WLAN technologies, multimedia services, value networks, along with wireless public services and their applications, security issues, mobile learning and wireless health care will be discussed by and with international experts. We will take a look to the future as well. Interesting site visits and EXPO are also included in the Programme.

 

Wireless Cities 2006 Conference is organised in association with the COMPETENCE Oulu 400 –Programme of the City of Oulu and the Rotuaari research project in the University of Oulu. International experts are invited to share their perspectives of the field, and 300 guests from public, private and science sectors are expected to attend the event.

 

The conference is organised as a part of the international Wireless Cities –project. The project aims to accelerate the development and use of new wireless applications, along with the intention to make them known among citizens.

 

Target groups of the conference are on business, public and science sectors. Professionals, senior experts, advisors, researchers and scientists in product development and decision making, financing, R&D activities, regional development and support services are all invited to join us!
