Fourth dose of COVID-19 vaccine is recommended to those aged 80 and above, and to seniors living in care homes

Fourth dose of COVID-19 vaccine is recommended in Oulu to those aged 80 and above, aged 65 and above who are within the scope of organised home care or informal care as well as to other older people whose health and functional capacity have similarly deteriorated and to seniors living in care homes and persons aged 70-79 who are in medical high-risk groups 1 and 2, when at least 3 months have passed since the third vaccination. The fourth dose of the vaccine has previously been recommended to those who are seriously immunocompromised (aged 12 years and older).
