Felling Trees in Public Areas

Residents' requests concerning felling of trees in greenspaces under the management of the streets and parks services are handled in conjunction with the preparations for the maintenance of woodland in the area in question. Once a decision has been made, trees are felled by the area contractor.

Woodland areas not in the immediate vicinity of habitation are under the management of the natural resources and management team of Urban and Environmental Services. Permits for felling trees on residential plots are granted by the Building Supervision.
