Library opening hours around Midsummer
On the day before Midsummer’s Eve, Thursday 22.6., libraries will open by 10:00 and close by 16:00. Mobile libraries will be touring their routes until 16:00.
The libraries are closed on Midsummer’s Eve, Friday, 24.6., Midsummer Day, Saturday, 25.6., and Sunday 26.6., apart from self-service libraries, which are open for self-service use throughout the Midsummer weekend. A valid OUTI library card and PIN are required to enter the library during self-service hours. Mobile libraries will not be touring during the weekend.

The reform of health, social and rescue services
Healthcare, social welfare, and rescue services will move from the responsibility of the City of Oulu to the wellbeing services county of North Ostrobothnia (Pohde) from the beginning of 2023. Read more about the reform (pohde.fi)
