Library opening hours for Autumn 2021

All libraries will move to regular autumn opening hours on Monday, 30.8.2021. The only exception is the Karjasilta library which will move to autumn opening hours on Monday, 6.9.2021. 

Mon–Fri  8.30–20
Sat  9–16
Sun (self-service) 12–16

On days before national holidays, all libraries will open by 10.00 and close by 17.00.

The following libraries operate as self-service libraries during school holidays: Jääli, Kastelli, Kello, Martinniemi, Pateniemi, Puolivälinkangas, Yli-Ii and Ylikiiminki Libraries.
The Asema library is closed during school holidays.

Self-service libraries are open from Monday to Sunday. You can access self-service libraries with your library card and PIN.

Mobile libraries will move to autumn schedules on Monday, 30.8.2021. See the stops and schedules on the mobile libraries’ website (in Finnish).

Libraries will host events again this autumn, safety and restrictions considered. For more information about library events, see the library website or visit your library.

The City of Oulu recommends wearing a mask in public indoor spaces. Please visit the library only when you are healthy and without flu symptoms.
