Self-service opening hours at the Kaakkuri Library

Kaakkuri library is the 15th branch library to offer self-service use. Self-service hours offer longer opening hours at the Kaakkuri library and you can visit the library from Monday to Sunday, 7:00–12:00. Regular opening hours of the Kaakkuri library with the library staff present are the following during the summer: Mon–Wed 12:00–19:00 and Thu–Fri 10:00–17:00.

A library card and a PIN are needed for using the self-service libraries. The PIN is the same that is used for logging in to the OUTI Web Library. If you do not have a PIN, you can receive one from the library customer service (in person) or by ordering it from ‘Forgot your PIN?’ link in the login window of the OUTI Web Library if you have a registered e-mail address in the system.

During the self-service hours you can read books and magazines, pick up reservations, borrow and return loans using the self-service stations, use the computer, and study or work independently. Printing is only possible during regular opening hours when the library staff is present. More information about self-service libraries.

Present pandemic guidelines and measures must be followed also during the self-service hours. Remember to keep a safe distance to other library visitors. If have flu symptoms, are sick or in quarantine, do not visit the library and stay home instead.

You can check the opening hours from the OUTI Web Library, the library website or by contacting customer service.
