Some of the self-service libraries can also be used on the weekends

Starting 31.5., self-service hours at the libraries of Karjasilta, Kaukovainio, Maikkula, Rajakylä, Ritaharju, Tuira, Yli-Ii and Ylikiiminki are extended. Self-service use is possible Mon–Sun 7–21, except for Maikkula library where self-service hours are Mon–Fri 7–21 and Sat–Sun 9–21.

While visiting the library, please keep a safe distance to the library staff and other visitors. Please wear a face mask. If you have flu symptoms, feel sick, or are in quarantine, please stay at home.

A library card and a PIN are needed for using the self-service libraries. The PIN is the same that is used for logging in to the OUTI Web Library. If you do not have a PIN, you can receive one from the library customer service (in person) or by ordering it from ‘Forgot your PIN?’ link in the login window of the OUTI Web Library if you have a registered e-mail address in the system.

During the self-service hours you can read books and magazines, pick up reservations, borrow and return loans using the self-service stations, use the computer, and study or work independently. Printing is only possible during regular opening hours when the library staff is present. More information about self-service libraries.

You can check the opening hours from the OUTI Web Library, the library website or by contacting customer service.
