Winter holiday week 6.–12.3. in libraries
Winter holiday week 6.–12.3. brings some changes to the regular library opening hours. The Asema Library is closed, and the libraries of Hiukkavaara, Jääli, Kastelli, Kello, Martinniemi, Pateniemi, Puolivälinkangas, Yli-Ii and Ylikiiminki are open only for self-service use. Other libraries are open normally. A valid library card and PIN are required for self-service use.

The reform of health, social and rescue services
Healthcare, social welfare, and rescue services will move from the responsibility of the City of Oulu to the wellbeing services county of North Ostrobothnia (Pohde) from the beginning of 2023. Read more about the reform (pohde.fi)
