The programme begins as participants freely familiarize themselves with the archaeological exhibition. The Kierikki Centre auditorium presents a documentary film about Kierikki's research history and Time Travel to the Stone Age through a child's eyes. You are welcome to watch both films.
On the way to the Stone Age Village (500 m), you will learn about the area's archaeological sites with the help of our guide. In the Kierikkikangas prehistoric relic area, you will learn to recognize remains of prehistoric dwellings.
In the Stone Age Village's ancient row house, we will ponder together the life of the Stone Age people.
After this, everyone will be able to try their hand at shooting a prehistoric bow and grinding a stone object for themselves.
Finally, the group will also learn about ancient wilderness traditions presented along the trap trail. The nature trail is also suitable for wheelchairs.
