Naïve Art from the Collections of Oulu Museum of Art
Feelin’ Relaxed fills the second floor of the Oulu Museum of Art with colourful and joyous paintings and sculptures. True to their naïve style, the artworks exhibit individual touch and employ a wide variety of materials. Many of them comment on existence and the world in a humoristic way, sometimes with wistful overtones. The exhibition consists of works donated by the Heinänen Art Foundation and the museum’s own acquisitions, some of which are now displayed for the first time in Oulu. The exhibition has been built so that guests of different ages can participate and try their hand in art. It is accompanied by a parallel virtual exhibition that celebrates the 40th anniversary of Oulu Art School.
