Science Centre Tietomaa, Turkansaari Open Air Museum and Kierikki Stone Age Centre also have Luuppi cafés, which offer traditional delicacies and surprising treats and meals tuned to the spirit of each Luuppi destination. No ticket is required to visit any Luuppi café.
Mumin Kaffe in Science Centre Tietomaa is a combination of child-friendly service, Finnish design and Moomin Valley thinking; it is a cosy and comfortable café with great "hygge" where children are allowed to be seen and heard. In addition to families with chlidren, it attracts Moomin-loving tourists and simply everyone who likes to experience something new and different. In addition to café products, Mumin Kaffe serves lunch daily and provides catering services for events and parties.
The Luuppi café of Turkansaari Open Air Museum is in the Ylikärppä house dating back to 1894. A nice day in the museum island is crowned by salmon soup, coffee and delicacies in our atmospheric café – a veritable time trip to the past.
The café in the Kierikki Stone Age Centre is located in the heart of the museum's main building, sheltered by its strong log walls. The kitchen offers tasty Northern Ostrobothnian home cooking and sweet and savoury snacks.
Oulu Museum of Art and Northern Ostrobothnia Museum host pop-up cafés in connection with different events. The best-known is probably Café Hanna Å run by the museum staff that pops up every now and then in front of the Northern Ostrobothnia Museum.
