10–17 The marketplace will have several vendors selling hand crafted items, ceramics, organic food products and more.
Lots to do for the entire family: canoeing in a Stone Age dugout canoe, rock art painting, pottery making, archery, stone jewellery making and action place for kids by OMS.
12.00/13.45 Storytelling by Pohjan Väki: How Thor reclaims his lost hammer (in the stone age house furthest from the village entrance)
Performed in Finnish. Storyteller Juho Ljokkoi from Pohjan Väki performs a legendary story called Thrymskvida from the Poetic Edda.
13.00/14.30 The Mammoth – Mask theatre performance
Performed by The Dragon Dance Theatre Canada/Finland.
15.30 The Spear Dancer
A dance and music performance by dance artist Arttu Peltoniemi and shaman and musician Keke Lammassaari. The performance is an interpretation inspired by a dancing figure found in Nordic rock paintings.
16.00 Pohjan kaarti: Viking weapons & combat
Historical Viking fencing group Pohjan Kaarti exhibits Nordic Iron Age weapons and how they perform in different combat situations.
16.30 Fire-art Duo Flamebound
A mystical, ancient fire-show, telling the human tale of love and fight.
