Private Daycare Fees

Please note that the private day care centre or family day carer may collect an additional fee when the lowest or highest charge may differ from the table below. 

Early childhood education and care fee income limits in municipal early childhood education and care, starting from March 1, 2023: 

Example: The total gross income of a family of four is 6200,00 € per month, including holiday pay of 5%. The minimum gross income 5675 € is reduced from the family’s income = 525,00 €. The charge percentage is calculated from this result = 56,00 € which will be the monthly charge of a child in full-time early childhood education and care.  

The early childhood education and care customer fees are tied to the education price index. The index is reviewed every two years. 

The youngest child is the most expensive. The highest possible charge for the youngest child can be 295.00 € per month. The fee of the next child in age order is 40% of the youngest child’s fee, i.e. a maximum of 118,00 € per month. The fee for all other children is 20% of the youngest child’s fee, i.e. a maximum of 59,00 € per month. Charges for children that would be less than 28 € will not be collected.
