Our ECEC centre
Our ECEC centre's local and learning environment offers opportunities for forest trips, exercise and versatile learning. In our operating culture, we hope that everyone feels that they are an important part of our community. Our everyday life is based on positive full-time pedagogy that engages children.
Mission statement
Positive full-time pedagogy can be seen in our everyday life as encouraging and praising the child, taking into account the strengths and interests of the children.
Emotional and interaction skills are practiced by systematically modelling and supporting the child. Early childhood educators enrich children's play by participating in the play. Play and learning environments are regularly designed, modified and evaluated.
We exercise and utilise our diverse local and learning environment, for example, on weekly forest trips, exploring nearby parks, skiing and ice skating.
We follow both the national and Oulu’s own Curriculum for early childhood education and care in our daily work.
