Children's New Year

Thank you for the Children’s New Year celebration! 

The Children’s New Year event held at Rotuaari united the community to celebrate the arrival of the new year in a vibrant and dazzling atmosphere. A heartfelt thank you to all participants, performers, and everyone involved in organizing the event! 

The evening offered unforgettable moments: a warm New Year’s greeting from City Council Chair Lauri Nikula, an energetic acrobatic show by Oulun Tähtisirkus, a wonderful rendition of Finlandia by Lauri Tuohimaa, an astonishing mentalism magic performance and lively hosting by Pete Poskiparta and the grand finale, Tuluxxia’s fire and pyro show. And of course, the early evening children’s disco led by DJ NiceRice. 

The event was organized in collaboration by Wadessa Oy and the City of Oulu.
