Family groups

Family groups meet once a week. Free family clubs are intended for children aged 0–5 years in home care and their parents. Family clubs offer children playmates and diverse activities in the middle of everyday life, as well as parents the opportunity for peer support with other parents. 

Möttöset: Monday klo 9.00 - 12.00

Kekkoset: Wednesday klo 9.00 - 12.00 

Three-time club group

In group, you get to know other children, make friends, learn to be in a group and enjoy diverse activities. The activities are intended for children 3-5 years of age who do not need full-time early childhood education. The group meet three times a week for three hours at a time. Participation in the activities is free of charge.

The Green House's open ECEC centre is centrally located in the centre of Oulu in an idyllic green wooden house on Uusikatu. Our house has family clubs and children's early childhood education clubs for children in home care. The activities are guided by the early childhood education plan. The focus of family clubs is on providing peer support and a low-threshold place to come from home to meet other families regularly on a weekly basis. In an early childhood education club, a child in home care is allowed to play with others of the same age. 

The kind of story a child hears told about himself - that's the kind of story he continues about himself. 

Our mission is to bring joy and experiences to children and families in a safe atmosphere. Our most important values are openness, fairness and respect for other people. 

Our operations are best described by the following characterizations fluently in the Oulu dialect: We like to see you – let's do something nice together. We listen with a sensitive ear to what you want. Movement is not dependent on space – neither walls nor living space. We like the arts and embrace the whole of Oulu. We are global citizens from everywhere and everywhere. Let's play with us – let's be happy and learn together. We play all the time – for us, play is everything. We are with thee and for thee. We know and learn together. Evaluation must be carried out and lessons must be learned from it in order to stay on the right track. You don't have to be alone, we're here for you, the whole group. 

In our operations, we follow the national early childhood education plan and the City of Oulu's early childhood education plan.
