Pöllökangas ECEC centre has moved to temporary premises at Kalevalantie 13, 90570 Oulu, and will remain there until the end of 2026. A new multipurpose building (ECEC centre-youth center) will be constructed at Pöllökangas.

Groups
Preschool education
We organise preschool education in Katajala and Kuusela groups.
Pöllökangas ECEC centre has a long tradition of preschool education and cooperation with basic education. Together we plan joint pedagogy and events for 5–8-year-old children.
We follow both the national and Oulu’s own Curriculum for Pre-primary Education in our daily work.
Our ECEC centre
Pöllökangas ECEC centre is located in a quiet area of Lake Kuivasjärvi, next to the school. The ECEC centre has 4 groups in which the early childhood education plan and/or pre-primary education plan are followed, constantly learning new things and developing together.
Mission statement
The ECEC centre implements full-time pedagogy through positive pedagogy, drama pedagogy, with an emphasis on practicing emotional and friendship skills and movement. Nature is close by, so the yard and nearby nature are everyday learning environments.
