The ECEC centre is temporarily located in Svaaninsuo until the new ECEC centre is completed in Lintula at Kihokkitie 3. The name will change to Lintula starting from August 1, 2026, when it opens as a six-group daycare centre.

Groups
Preschool education
We organise preschool education in groups of Haapanat and Kaakkurit.
We cooperate with Teuvo Pakkala and Lintulampi School. The common pedagogical goal for everyone is to prevent bullying and strengthen emotional and friendship skills as well as good manners. We visit the school in the spring and, if possible, organise joint events, for example. on the occasion of a sports day.
We follow the national and the City of Oulu Curriculum for Pre-primary Education in our activities.
Our ECEC centre
Our ECEC centre is located in Svaaninsuo, in a quiet residential area at the end of the road.
The operating environment enables safe and free movement indoors and outdoors.
Currently, there are four groups. In addition to the number of permanent staff in the groups, there are also early childhood education nannies working in the groups as needed.

The mission statement of our ECEC centre is the joy of learning and insight
We emphasise functionality and playfulness, the joy and success of doing things, and arousing interest in learning new things. The aim is to strengthen and develop the child's self-esteem, social skills, empathy, curiosity and independence. We take into account children's interests and individual needs by utilising different areas of learning.
It is important to encourage children and take their strengths into account. Taking on challenges of the right size brings new goals and development. Children are encouraged and encouraged to exercise outdoors and indoors as diversely as possible during the daycare day.
We follow both the national and Oulu’s own Curriculum for early childhood education and care in our daily work.
