Timmi Booking Service
Timmi, the booking system for the Sports Services' facilities, was updated to the new Timmi360 municipal user interface on Wednesday 22 November 2023. The new interface also works on mobile devices and is accessible.
The change does not require any action from users and does not affect valid bookings, booking applications or cancellation policies made before.
The City of Oulu Sports Services use Timmi booking system for bookings. By registering, you can make booking applications and cancel singular reservations electronically. The registrant must be 18 years of age.
At the bottom of this page, there is an extensive list of direct links for browsing the facilities in the booking system. Browsing the facilities does not require registration.
Registration as a Private Individual
Register as a private individual when you are scheduling bookings, for example, on behalf of an unregistered sports club like a company sports team. As a private individual you will also be the one paying the charges for all your scheduled bookings. The service will send you an activation message via email from the address noreply@ouka.fi after you have submitted your registration application. If you do not receive this message, please check if it has ended up in your junk mail.
Registration as a Representative of an Organization
When registering as a representative of an organization you need permission from the club, association, or company you are representing. Bookings made as a representative will be paid by the organization you have listed when registering or which you have chosen from the registry. When registering, a notification will be sent to your organization’s email.
If the information you are entering about an organization is new and the organization is a sports club from Oulu, please deliver a copy of the registration papers you have received from the Patent and Registration Office along with the association’s rules to City of Oulu Sport Services email address at liikuntapaikkavaraukset@ouka.fi. After this, your association’s bookings can be charged according to sports club rates.
If you have already registered as a private individual, apply for an expansion to become a representative of an organization under the section Omat tiedot.
Registration as a representative of an organization is managed by the Bookings Unit of the City of Oulu Sport Services (on weekdays during office hours) and the processing time is 1-3 days.

Instructions for Browsing the System
Sports facilities are grouped into entities by type. Select from the list below which type of sports facility bookings you wish to view.
From the opening menu you can click on the name of the sports facility you wish to view, after which you will be redirected to the booking application.
When you are in the booking application and want to browse the booking status of other sports facilities, click the booking calendar text on the left side. In the search section of the booking calendar, you can search for facilities by a search term or, for example, by purpose of use. This will automatically open a list of sports facilities that match your search.
The white areas on the calendar are available, free time slots. You can make booking applications for these time slots after registering.
Grey areas mean that the sports facility is closed or cannot be booked at the moment.
The areas shown in green mean that the facility is not available for reservation (e.g. a booking has been made for an entire hall, in which case it is not possible to reserve a section of the hall).
The colours shown in bookings are classifications used by the Sports Services, such as: orange=match/competition, pink=practice use, red=standard booking, etc.

The large pool is 50 m long and has 8 tracks. The pool can be divided into two separate 25 m pools with a partition wall.

You can view the schools' and daycare centres' exercise gyms' booking status on the website for school and daycare centre exercise gyms (in Finnish), by clicking on the name of the facility.
Booking Status of Meeting Spaces
The City of Oulu Sports Services manages the meeting spaces in sports facilities. Meeting spaces can be booked through the booking system. N.B. free of charge use for customers under the age of 18 does not apply to booking meeting spaces.
