The future of the city's finances and activities is planned and evaluated in the budget process. The Mayor's budget proposal is announced in the fall, and the budget is finalized by the council's decision at the end of the year. The city's budgetary outcome is monitored quarterly and monthly. Financial statements and an annual report for the completed accounting period will be prepared in the spring.
