The Hartaansilta Bridge and Hartaanselänranta are now open to public

The Housing Fair in Oulu ended on Sunday, August 17. During the last days, the exhibitions, fences, and the large exhibition hall have been removed from Hartaanselänranta. During week 35, the last structures, the gate and the restaurant tent, are removed from the area.

Hartaanselänranta is now entirely open to the public. During the coming weeks, the area’s greenspaces will be revitalized and excavated; please be careful when moving in the area.  

The city of Oulu reminds people that the fair houses and their yards should be left alone because they are private homes. 

New playground and the diverse art bring joy to the area 

The Hartaansilta Bridge and the Vaakunakylä Boulevard with its benches offer plenty to admire for everyone in the area. Additionally, the Raakkula Playground and Beach with their spectacular platforms invite everyone to spend restful evenings by the river, in the embrace of protected local nature. Local art can be experienced plentifully and in surprising places.
