Welcome to Oulu Festival for new citizens is looking for presenters
Oulu bids its new citizens welcome by organizing the Welcome to Oulu Festival in connection to the Oulu Days. The event will be organized for the fifth time this year. It will take place on September 4, 2026, in the Mannerheiminpuisto Park. The Festival brings together the city’s services, organizations, communities, and hobby operators, as well as offers a communal atmosphere to citizens of all ages. The Welcome to Oulu Festival is now looking for presenters.
Dozens of operators from many fields participate in the event annually. The Festival in Mannerheiminpuisto Park offers visitors an opportunity to find new hobbies and avenues for participation. Diverse performances for citizens of all ages will take to the stage during the event. The event is marketed as part of the Oulu Days.
Applications close already in June
Applications for presenters are now open. The applications will close earlier than before, on June 1. The slots are filled in order of application, and you can apply for back-up slots if the event is already full. Participating is free of charge for the presenters.
Mannerheiminpuisto Park offers a great setting for multi-faceted presentations and participatory programmes. Tents will be delivered to the park for presenter stations, and the park’s greenspace is suitable for, for example, performances, demonstrations, and other activities.
