Oulu for All Project’s Goals

The goals of the Oulu for All project

  1. The project reduces the number of discrimination cases and racist violence, as well as increases the members of society’s understanding of the occurrences of racism.

  2. The project improves the wellbeing and experiences of participation of victims of racism and racialized people.

  3. The project brings about public discussion on the visible and invisible forms and everyday practices of racism and discrimination in Northern Ostrobothnian communities.

  4. The project increases the competence of professionals working in different sectors of the city of Oulu in identifying and intervening in racism in its different forms.

  5. A replicable, local-level operational model for knowledge-based anti-racism work will be created by the project.
