You may go winter swimming in the Oulujoki River on the Tuira Beach.
The Tuira Beach’s service building includes washing and dressing rooms. Please prepare for walking on frozen surfaces between the service building and the winter swimming spot.
An electric lock system is in use in the Tuira Beach’s service building in the winter seasons 13.8.–31.5. For a seasonal charge, you will receive a key for personal use for one year starting from the payment date. However, it cannot be used in the summer seasons.
In the summers, the dressing rooms and toilets are open to all users of the beach from 12.00–17.00. The washing rooms and showers are not in use during these times.

Pensioners, students, unemployed, 15 €
Children under 18 years old and people with Senior Cards, free of charge
Winter swimming cannot be paid with a single payment
A 10 € fine (the acquisition price of a key for the Sport Services) will be charged for lost winter swimming keys.
