International Language Meetup on Tuesday 8.9.2026 at Central Library Saari

International Language Meetup aims to provide Oulu people an opportunity to practice languages in fun and engaging ways, as well as to meet people from around the world. It is free-of-charge and open for everyone to participate, no requirement or registration needed!

- Time: Tuesday 8.9.2026 at 17:30-19:00
- Place: Central Library Saari (event space Laituri on the ground floor next to the main entrance)

At the meetup, there are different language tables, each of which is dedicated to a specific language. There are also volunteers, who are native or advanced speakers of these languages, leading the activities at their language table. The focus is to help you to speak and use the language as much as possible!

Available languages (will be updated when there are additions or changes): Finnish, English, Spanish, Japanese, Italian, Chinese, German, Arabic, Russian, Swahili, Vietnamese, Urdu
