Ukrainian Culture Invites You to a Cultural Café on 7 October

The Ukrainian cultural café “Rhythm of Ukraine” will be held on Wednesday, 7 October, from 3 to 6 pm at Oulu10.

“At the café, you can hear interesting facts about Ukraine, learn about Ukrainian traditions and music culture, and enjoy live Ukrainian singing,” says Janna Pennanen, Chair of the Association of Ukrainians in Northern Ostrobothnia.

Visitors can also practise the Ukrainian language and take part in quizzes. “The quiz prizes include Ukrainian souvenirs. Participants will also have the opportunity to join a Ukrainian dance workshop,” Pennanen says.

Coffee and Ukrainian sweets will be served at the free cultural café.

Villa Victor is organising a series of cultural cafés as part of Oulu’s European Capital of Culture year, in cooperation with the network of different language and cultural communities.
