Waste drop-off points for household waste

Any waste that does not belong or fit into your waste container must be taken either to a regional waste drop-off point, to Rusko waste treatment centre or other drop-off points.

Regional waste drop-off points accept big, bulky household waste such as broken furniture, electrical and electronic equipment, hazardous substances and large amounts of waste produced, for example, when redecorating or moving. See the locations and opening hours on the website kiertokaari.fi.

Packaging waste (glass, metal, carton, plastic) can be dropped off to any Rinki eco take-back point. See the locations on rinkiin.fi.

Disposal of industrial waste

Rusko waste treatment centre accepts different types of industrial waste. The waste centre treats mixed and construction waste, liquid waste, bio-waste, and oily water, and also provides services for composting oil-polluted soil. Rusko waste treatment centre has drop-off points for businesses' hazardous waste and, at Kierrätyspiha Kirsi, for chargeable waste such as untreated and pressure-impregnated wood, stumps, asphalt, glass, concrete, brick and slabs.
