We provide preschool education in the Kaakkurit and Haapanat groups.

Our activities follow the City of Oulu Preschool Education Curriculum.

Lintula ECEC Centre is a new daycare centre that began operating on 3 August 2026. The centre is located in a peaceful area of Lintula, close to the Lintulampi forest and recreational area, which we make use of in our activities. Children over the age of three enjoy outdoor play in the park next to the ECEC centre, which was completely renovated in the summer of 2026.

Our Educational Philosophy: The Joy of Learning and Discovery

At our daycare centre, we promote active learning through play, the joy of doing, the experience of success, and sparking children’s interest in learning new things. Our goal is to support and strengthen each child’s self-esteem, social skills, empathy, curiosity, and independence.

We take children’s interests and individual needs into account, making use of the various areas of learning to support their growth and development.

Encouragement and recognising each child’s strengths are important to us. Taking on appropriately challenging tasks helps children set new goals and develop their skills. Children are encouraged and supported to be physically active throughout the daycare day, both indoors and outdoors, in a wide variety of ways.

Our activities are guided by the National Core Curriculum for Early Childhood Education and Care and the City of Oulu Early Childhood Education and Care Curriculum.
