The library’s temporary reservation pick-up location will move to the Market Square on September 1

The Mobile Library Onneli has served as a temporary reservation pick-up point in the city centre. Reservations can be collected from the Market Square, near the Central Library Saari, starting Monday, September 1. Onneli will be parked on Kaarlenväylä, next to the Market Square’s parking area from Mondays to Thursdays 14.00–19.00 and on Fridays 10.00–15.00. If you want to pick up your reservations from Onneli, please select "Oulun keskustakirjaston Saaren väliaikainen noutopiste" as the pick-up location on the OUTI Web Library or contac the library customer service. Please note that the Mobile Library Onneli is not accessible. 

You can drop off small amounts of returns at the Mobile Library Onneli, which can also be borrowed. Loans can be also returned to other local libraries and any of the OUTI Libraries. 

The nearest libraries to the city centre are Karjasilta Library, Kastelli Library, Kaukovainio Library, Koskela Library, and Tuira Library. Karjasilta, Kastelli and Kaukovainio Libraries have self-service hours. During self-service hours, you need your library card and PIN to enter the library. 

Central Library Saari will be opened in November 2025.
