OUTI Libraries are closed on 6.5. due to the system upgrade, Ascension Day on 9.5. also affects the opening hours

On Monday 6.5. all OUTI Libraries, including Oulu, Hailuoto, Ii, Kempele, Kuusamo, Liminka, Lumijoki, Muhos, Pudasjärvi, Pyhäjoki, Raahe, Siikajoki, Taivalkoski, Tyrnävä, Utajärvi and Vaala Libraries, are closed due to the upgrade of the library system. The mobile libraries will not drive their routes and self-service use will not be possible either. On Sunday 5.5. self-service hours end at 19.00 at the latest. There will not be due dates for loans and the laste pick-up dates for reservations when libraries are closed

On Tuesday 7.5. libraries will open by 12.00.

Online services such as the OUTI Web Library and the Northern eLibrary will be out of use starting Sunday, 5.5. at 19.00 until the end of the system upgrade. You will be able to browse the library collections on the OUTI Web Library but without the current availability information. You will not be able to log in, view or modify your user information, loans, or reservations.

During the system upgrade, the library system will not send any due date notifications, reservation pick-up notifications or other messages. You will be able to see your loans and reservations at the OUTI Web Library and at the library customer service after the system upgrade is over.

The Oulu10 service points in Kiiminki, Oulunsalo and Yli-Ii, which are located at the libraries, will be closed on Monday 6.5. and will open at 12 on Tuesday 7.5. The Oulu10 service point in Haukipudas will be open normally from 10-16 on both days.

Wednesday, 8.5. is the eve of Ascension Day and customer service in the libraries will open at 10.00 at the latest and end by 16.00. On Ascension Day, 9.5., there will be no customer service available in the libraries. However, self-service libraries can be visited according to their opening hours. A valid library card and PIN are required for self-service use.
