Climate Competence

Shared climate

A responsible lifestyle includes taking care of our shared climate. Climate change, which is progressing exceptionally quickly, creates challenges for both individual societies, survival of species, and acclimation. However, solutions for global problems are born in local action, when individual people decide to participate in the common good. Each of us is like a single ring in a massive chain. And each ring is crucial.

Constructive listening and dialogue

We need shared decisions and a push into the right direction towards a cleaner future where the human species does not take over the entire planet but only takes up the room it needs. As people, we are capable of constructive dialogue which we should utilize in the middle of new crises: one of the most important actions is to stop and listen to each other.

We need climate action of varying sizes

Climate sustainable life can be built in different ways, and we can make the work more fun. Let us take care of our minds and wellbeing by doing small climate actions that suit our values in our everyday lives. Let us do effective communal climate action in our work, school, and hobby groups, changing their structures one piece at a time. Let us demand our leaders and decision-makers to take responsibility for securing and enabling the future of our generation and coming generations.
