The Learning Stream for Sustainable Future is part of the city of Oulu’s education curricula. The Learning Stream supports the implementation of sustainability initiatives present in the curricula and the sustainability education and activities of individuals.
In the city of Oulu, building sustainable future is important cross-sectoral work that considers the perspectives of education, the environment, and wellbeing, among others. Achieving the goals of sustainable future requires cooperative measures and understanding the significance of eco-social education.

Introduction to the self-learning module guides you to the Handbook’s contents and goals.
Studying the module takes about 20 minutes. It is meant for professionals working with children and young people.
Into the Learning Stream webinar recording
Into the Learning Stream webinar explores the areas of Oulu’s Learning Stream work and adapting the methods in your unit. The recording can be used in teacher meetings as a basis for unit-specific Learning Stream planning.
