Connections for you and your child – Event for Parents with an Immigrant Background on September 15
Have you moved to Finland and are taking care of your child at home? Do you know what activities are available for you and your child in Oulu? Come and learn about different services and meeting places.
The City of Oulu, OSAO, and the Mannerheim League for Child Welfare are organizing an event for parents with an immigrant background on Monday, September 15th from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at Technopolis (Sepänkatu 20).
The event will introduce early childhood education services, hobbies, and shared activities for parents and children. The event will be held in Finnish, but interpreters for English, Russian, Arabic, and Somali will be present.
You are welcome to attend with your child, as there will be activities for children during the event.
Coffee, tea, and juice will be served.

The event is organized in collaboration by the City of Oulu: International House Oulu, Multicultural Center Villa Victor, Oulu Adult Upper Secondary School, and Business Oulu, as well as OSAO’s Kotva project and the Northern Finland District of the Mannerheim League for Child Welfare.
