A skating track opened in Kuusisaari

A skating track has been opened on the Kuusisaari Island right by the Oulu city centre. The 300-meter track passes along the island’s west side. The track can be skated in both directions. The track is lit.
A skiing track has been built in Kuusisaari for years and a skiing track will be built in the winter of 2026 as well once the weather is suitable.
Visitors to Kuusisaari should remember that they should park their cars on either the Kuusisaari or Raatinsaari parking area. Parking on the grass on Kuusisaari Island is not permitted.
