Summer opening times of Oulu’s Community Facilities
The city of Oulu’s Community Facilities’ summer opening times in 2025:
Pekuri Community Facility (Kauppurienkatu 10, Shopping Centre Pekuri) is closed from June 1 – July 15, 2025. Otherwise, the Facility is open on Mon, Wed, and Fri from 10.00–14.00. Workshops are held during the break based on previous agreements. Facility bookings operate as usual.
Alvari Community Facility is open throughout the summer.
Ylikiiminki Community Facility (Harjutie 18) is closed from June 19 – July 20, 2025.
Kello Community Facility is closed from June 23 – July 18, 2025. Otherwise, the Facility is open normally on weekdays from 9.00–15.00.
Tuira Community Facility Tuirakas (Jatkotie 2) is open from June 2 – July 31, Mon – Thu from 10.00–15.00, Fri from 10.00–14.00. The Facility is closed on Midsummer’s Eve on June 20, 2025.
Artturi Community Facility (Välivainio, Paulaharjuntie 22) is open normally during the summer season on Mon – Thu from 9.00–15.00 and Fri 9.00–14.00. Lunch is served from 10.30–13.00.
Puokkaritalo Community Facility (Mielikintie 7) is open from June 2 – July 31, 2025, as follows: primary schoolers Mon – Fri from 16.00–18.00, middle schoolers and 18-year-olds Mon – Fri from 18.00–22.00, Naistenkerho Fri from 17.00–19.00, Prikka food distribution Fri. Make a reservation for Prikka food aid by phone tel. 044 345 7900.
Korvensuora Community Facility is closed starting from June 6, 2025, and opens in mid-July. The opening date will be announced on the Facility’s Facebook page.
Kaakkuri Community Facility is closed from June 30 – July 20, 2025. Otherwise, the facility is open as normal.
Hyöhtyä Välke Community Facility (Latokartanontie 1) is open throughout the summer on weekdays from 9.00–15.00. Lunch is served from 11.00–13.00.
Rajakylä Community Facility is open from June 2 – June 6, 2025, as follows: Mon 9.30–11.30, Tue closed, Wed 9.30–11.30, Thu closed, Fri 9.30–11.30. Between June 9 – July 18, the Facility is open as follows: Mon 9.30–11.30, Tue 9.30–11.30, Wed 9.30–11.30, Thu 9.30–11.30, and Fri 9.30–11.30.
Haukipudas Community Facility (Jokelantie 1 L 1) is open upon reservation.
Community Facilities are for all citizens of Oulu
Community Facilities are open meeting places offered by the city of Oulu and operated in cooperation with associations. The Facilities are meant for all citizens of Oulu: for recreation, group activities and hobbies. The Community Facilities, located all over the city, are different from one another and offer varying services, such as lunches, sewing, and digital support.
