Survey on residential environments and everyday destinations that support wellbeing

ODL, in cooperation with the University of Oulu, is holding a survey on everyday locations, features of residential areas and forms of mobility in Oulu and Helsinki.
The survey aims to collect data on areas residents use in their everyday lives and examine the areas people move in and how the features of the areas are connected with forms of mobility. Survey results can be used to promote activity and health in urban environment design. A 50 € gift card for Kesko-branded stores will be raffled among the respondents.
The survey is part of a doctoral thesis at the University of Oulu’s Geography Research Unit and ODL’s Department of Sports and Exercise Medicine.
The survey is open until October 31, 2025.
