You are welcome to play and exercise outdoors at dog parks! The city of Oulu has 10 dog parks, where our canine fellows may play and exercise together. In order for the play to go smoothly, please read the dog park regulations.

Dog Park Regulations 

  1. You are responsible for your own dog and all possible damage it causes. Also, in the unpleasant and rare cases of biting.  

  2. Dogs that are unvaccinated, angry, sick, or in heat are not suitable for playing with other dogs. 

  3. Follow the division if the park has been divided for small and large dogs. Small dogs are 40 cm tall and weigh a maximum of 15 kg.  

  4. Keep your dog unleashed in the park and make sure that it gets along with other dogs. Remove the dog’s collar and harness when you enter the park. 

  5. Please don’t bring the dog’s own toys to the park. Throwing sticks and snowballs in the parks is not permitted because it causes dangerous situations.  

  6. If the dogs jump against you, you are responsible for your own clothes.  

  7. Protect the vegetation and structures of the park and fill the holes your dog might have dug. 

  8. Keep the area clean, please collect your dog’s poops and other trash. 

  9. Make sure to respect the quiet time 22.00-7.00.  

  10. Keep the gates shut at all times to ensure safety.
