Dog Parks
You are welcome to play and exercise outdoors at dog parks! The city of Oulu has 10 dog parks, where our canine fellows may play and exercise together. In order for the play to go smoothly, please read the dog park regulations.

Haukipudas, Haapajärvi Dog Park

Haapajärvi Dog Park includes separate enclosures for large and small dogs.
The park is open, grassy surfaced, and there are some planted trees in the park.
Herukka, Heikkeliininpuisto Dog Park

Iinatti, Iinatinpuisto Dog Park
Address: Kaskiahontie, Iinatinpuisto
The Iinattipuisto Dog Park was finished in late summer of 2024. It is surrounded by a forest and partially paved with rock dust. Separate sides for small and large dogs.
Parking: The dog park is located on the old Iinatti ballgame field, the closest parking area is located by Kaskiahontie.
Intiö, Intiönkangas Dog Park

The dog park has been renovated in 2023. The park is closed until the ground freezes so that the grass doesn't get damaged. The park will be opened in the winter when it is certainly below zero degrees, and will be closed again in the spring until grass germinates again. Once the grass has been mowed for the first time in the spring 2024, the park will be opened officially.

Dog Park Regulations
You are responsible for your own dog and all possible damage it causes. Also, in the unpleasant and rare cases of biting.
Dogs that are unvaccinated, angry, sick, or in heat are not suitable for playing with other dogs.
Follow the division if the park has been divided for small and large dogs. Small dogs are 40 cm tall and weigh a maximum of 15 kg.
Keep your dog unleashed in the park and make sure that it gets along with other dogs. Remove the dog’s collar and harness when you enter the park.
Please don’t bring the dog’s own toys to the park. Throwing sticks and snowballs in the parks is not permitted because it causes dangerous situations.
If the dogs jump against you, you are responsible for your own clothes.
Protect the vegetation and structures of the park and fill the holes your dog might have dug.
Keep the area clean, please collect your dog’s poops and other trash.
Make sure to respect the quiet time 22.00-7.00.
Keep the gates shut at all times to ensure safety.
