Kiikeli Park

The Kiikeli Park is a versatile park area near the Oulu city centre in the city district of Pokkinen, on the Kiikeli Island next to the Oulu Market Square. The area is a combination of nature and city-like environment. There is a residential area near the park and an accessible pathway to the neighboring island Elba. There is a sculpture, Kangastus by Reijo Hukkanen, as well as a beach and the Meritulli guest harbor in the park. The Kiikeli Park is especially popular for hosting casual picnics.

Access and Parking
- Railway station – 1,5 km by foot
- Bus connections run near the area. However, the nearest bus stop is nearly 500 m away from the park.
- There are parking spaces near the area.

- There are park benches in the area.
- Grass lawns and a sandy beach
- The park area is a popular venue for picnics and leisure activities, and it is in active use especially during summer weekends.
- The area offers a pleasant environment and hosts artworks.
Water and Wastewater
There are no water points in the area. There are some portable toilets near the park.
Power Outlets and Lighting
No electricity available for small-scale events. Event organizers must arrange electricity separately, if needed.

The use of public spaces is subject to a charge. The fees are determined by the Urban and Environment Services of Oulu's price list (in Finnish).
