Kiikkusaari is a busy park-like area where the summer café Kiikku, a kiosk and the city greenhouses operate. The park includes a playground and fire pit sites as well as the eco-concrete OULU letters.

A general public space utilization permit is required to use the venue. The permit is applied for via the ePermit service (in Finnish).
The use of public spaces is subject to a charge. The fees are determined by the Urban and Environment Services of Oulu’s price list (in Finnish).
