Tuira Park

The Tuira Park is a significant greenspace and recreational area covering approximately 9,5 hectares, located about two kilometers from the Oulu city centre. The park is recognized as a nationally significant built cultural environment, and its buildings are protected under the current local detailed plan. These include protected hospital and residential buildings, built in the beginning of the 20th century.

- Greenspaces, vegetation, trees and equipment in the area must not be damaged.
- The event organizer is responsible for waste management and sanitation.
- The traffic connections surrounding the area must not be obstructed.
Access and Parking
- Railway station – 2,1 km by foot
- Bus traffic is easily accessible.
- There are parking possibilities near the venue.
Area, Surfaces and Structures
- Forest trails with walking paths.
- There are wooden boardwalks and level walking surfaces in the area.
- There is a green forest area with rhododendrons that bloom in early summer.
Water and Wastewater
There are no water points or a toilet in the area.
Power Outlets and Lighting
No electricity available for small-scale events. Event organizers must arrange electricity separately, if needed.

A general public space utilization permit is required to use the venue. The permit is applied for via the ePermit service (in Finnish).
The use of public spaces is subject to a charge. The fees are determined by the Urban and Environment Services of Oulu's price list (in Finnish).
