Veturi Square

The Veturi Square is located in Etu‑Lyötty, at the intersection of the Vanhantullinkatu and Rautatienkatu streets. The square provides direct access to the pedestrian and cycling route network, such as Madetojanraitti that connects the residential areas of Etu-Lyötty and Taka-Lyötty. The square includes an extensive park area, the Tullipuomi Park, that hosts a play area and a multi-use ball game area.

- Railway station – 1 km by foot
- The bus connections are easily accessible.
- There are parking possibilities near the square.
Area, Surfaces and Structures
- A water fountain in the middle of the square.
- Park benches and an asphalt-topped surface.
There are communal garden plots around the area.
Water and Wastewater
There are no water points or a toilet in the area.
Power Outlets and Lighting
No electricity available for small-scale events. Event organizers must arrange electricity separately, if needed.

A general public space utilization permit is required to use the venue. The permit is applied for via the ePermit service (in Finnish).
The use of public spaces is subject to a charge. The fees are determined by the Urban and Environment Services of Oulu's price list (in Finnish).
