Veterinary care
The Oulu Environment Office veterinary care is in charge of basic veterinary services for livestock and pets in Hailuoto, Kempele, Liminka, Lumijoki, Muhos, Oulu and Tyrnävä.
The greater Yli-Ii district veterinary care is handled by the Oulunkaari Environmental Services (in Finnish).
Official veterinary duties
Veterinary care also comprises prevention of animal diseases, primary production control of foodstuffs of animal origin and animal protection.
