Youth services in the City of Oulu
The core idea behind our youth work is to offer preventive, long-term support for children and young people. The aim is to promote well-balanced growth and support parents in bringing up their children. The work of our trained youth instructors improves the living conditions of the young and encourages them to take initiatives and become active members of society.
Our working methods emphasise communality and flexibility, and base on networking and making use of modern technology. Participating in our activities is optional. Substance use on our premises is strictly prohibited, and participating in our activities intoxicated is not acceptable.
