Maintenance of Greenspaces

Maintenance of greenspaces refers to the care of lawns, vegetation, coverings, structures and equipment, and the clean-up of green areas. Maintenance tasks include, among other things, mowing and brushing lawns, mowing trees, grooming and taking care of shrubs and flowers, maintaining playgrounds and paths, and emptying rubbish bins. If agreed upon, more extensive repair and maintenance work can also be carried out.

The city of Oulu is divided into contract areas, and each has a maintenance contractor. The contractors comprise private entrepreneurs and the Oulun Infra Public Utility. In case of problems, contact the contractor in charge of the area.
