STEAM in Oulu Summit 2026
STEAM in Oulu Summit 2026 is an education conference held in Oulu, Finland that brings together educators for new perspectives on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. The event includes a lively mix of panel discussions, keynote insights, group dialogues, and a creative Learning Café showcasing robotics, art‑tech projects, environmental STEAM work, and inclusive teaching practices.
The conference is held primarily in English.

Open Call: Experiences and Perspectives on STEAM Learning
We invite teaching and educational staff and researchers to share their experiences, practices, and research-based perspectives related to STEAM learning (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics). The aim is to present, discuss, and collectively explore the diverse possibilities and pedagogy of STEAM learning across different educational and research contexts.
Topics may include, for example:
- STEAM learning in environmental education and education for sustainable development
- Inclusion, equity, and accessibility in STEAM education
- Technology education and digital solutions
- Interdisciplinary learning, creativity, and learner-centered pedagogical approaches
Contributions may be based on practical teaching experiences, development projects, or research. We welcome a wide range of perspectives and educational levels, from early childhood education to higher education.
This Open call applies to both joint presentations and workshops using the Open Space method. You can apply for both or just one of them using this application form.
