Children’s Cultural Centre Kotilo is the home of children’s culture in the Central Library Saari.

Kotilo offers citizens and visitors diverse, high-quality and alternating children’s culture experiences – it’s a place for the whole family to spend time and do things together!

Opening Hours

Kotilo is closed for Easter from 3.4–6.4.2026.

Kotilo’s gallery is open and staff is present from Tuesday to Saturday until 9.4.2026.

Sat 10–16

Kotilo’s gallery is closed from 10.4.–24.4. due to an exhibition change.

What and where?

Children’s Cultural Centre Kotilo is located on the Central Library Saari’s fourth floor. Kotilo’s operations are especially targeted at children under the age of 12 and their families, but also for school and day care centre groups. However, people of all ages are more than welcome to explore Kotilo’s experiential exhibitions!
