Information on Kotilo

Children’s Cultural Centre Kotilo is the home for children’s culture in the Central Library Saari.

Kotilo offers citizens and visitors diverse, high-quality and alternating children’s culture experiences. We offer programming that inspires children of all ages, as well as adults, to be creative and enjoy playfulness. Kotilo is a meeting place where the entire family can enjoy things together.

Kotilo’s activities are directed primarily to children under 12 and families, as well as school and daycare groups. However, people of all ages are welcome to explore Kotilo’s experiential exhibitions.

Kotilo leaves a lasting impression! 

Children’s Cultural Centre Kotilo is a part of the city of Oulu’s Educational and Cultural Services and general culture services. On top of Kotilo, general culture services include the Cultural Centre Valve, Urban Neighborhood Culture and Arts and Well-Being.
